The City of McDonough recognizes that small businesses are a vital driver of economic growth, job creation, innovation, and community prosperity. To strengthen and expand the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Small Business Training Framework Committee has been established to assess, design, and recommend a comprehensive small business development program that supports current and aspiring business owners.

The committee's purpose is to develop a sustainable Small Business Training Framework that aligns with the City's economic development priorities, community values, and long-term vision. The framework will provide entrepreneurs and small business owners with access to practical education, business resources, mentorship opportunities, and growth pathways that help businesses start, grow, scale, and remain competitive.

The McDonough Small Business Blueprint is more than a training initiative, it is a community-driven effort to build a sustainable framework that supports entrepreneurship, strengthens local businesses, and creates pathways for economic mobility and long-term community success for the City of McDonough.
